Today is a B Day
| 7th Grade Only: Today is the last day for 7th grade Ambassadors and Peer Mediators to sign up for the 5th grade elementary school visits in April. Come to the Counseling Office during your study hall today! It’s your last chance before the 8th graders sign up. See Mrs. Martin if you have any questions. Book Club: Read the rest of The Homework Machine for our next meeting on Thursday, March 25th. Watch the teachers get schooled!! Student vs. Faculty Basketball game will be TODAY Friday March 12 at 3:00 in the gym. Come watch current Andersen students show off their skills against Andersen faculty members. Admission to the game is $1. Tickets may be bought at the door or in advance from Mr. Eastridge or Mr. Vansurksum. 10 prizes will be raffled off during the game. Pop & candy will be for sale in the cafeteria. Millard South dance team will also be performing. Any ?s see Mr. Eastridge or Mr. Vansurksum. You have done an AWESOME job reading this last hexter…keep it up! Today in your 6th grade reading class, 7th grade reading class, or 8th grade English class, your teacher will share how many pages we have logged and which color of dye is in the lead for Mrs. Byington’s hair. For those teams that participated in the random drawing of prizes, your prizes will be waiting for you as well. Congratulations to those winners! |
Calendar Changes
Andersen Middle School Calendar Update:
As you may have heard, snow days bring changes to our calendar.
Students will go to school on February 11 and March 15. Previously, those dates were designated for staff to work, but students had the days off. The school board voted for the change to make up for days when schools were closed due to inclement weather. To print a revised calendar, click here.
