Announcements for Friday, October 24, 2014--A Day
AMS hoodie and shirt orders are due soon. Print an order form from the AMS website or pick one up in the office.  Turn in your order with money to the AMS office before Oct. 31.
 
Students from the Millard South High School DECA program would like to conduct a Penny Drive/Health and Beauty Aid Products Drive at Andersen during your Primetime.  Any money collected for products will go directly to the WEE Care Program.  This program directly benefits students at AMS during the year who are in need.
 
Starting Tues. (10/21), please bring any extra change to your Primetime or Health & Beauty Products.  These can include:  Toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, mouthwash and toilet paper.  
 
The top two collecting Primetimes will receive a free breakfast from the DECA students.
 
The collection will run through Oct. 30th.
 
Red Ribbon Week is next week, October 27th-31st. Red Ribbon Week is alcohol, tobacco and drug free prevention awareness our nation recognizes. Youth to Youth offers monthly field trip to have fun with friends while staying drug free. To show our school support we are having a themed week:
Monday:  HAT DAY
Tuesday:  TWIN DAY (be a twin to your friend!)
Wednesday:  The 80's (show how super rad you can look!)
Thursday:  Team Day (show your spirit with your favorite team!)
 Friday:  Orange/Black out day (spread the Halloween cheer, NO COSTUMES, just colors)
                                                                                              
The dress code still applies, so when it doubt, rule it out!

Intramural practice will begin this Friday right after school in the gym.  If you have not signed up please see Mr. Eastridge before Friday.  Plan on having rides arranged by 3:45.  Practice will go from 3:05-3:45.  Please bring everything down to the gym because the doors won’t be open to get back to your lockers.  Practice is the 24th, 27th and 30th of October.  Any questions please see Mr. Burklund, Mr. Comstock, or Mr. Hinze if you have questions.

DESIGN CLUB begins today. All those who purchased kits come to Room 703 from 3:05-3:50.

ATTENTION ALL MULAN MUSICAL MEMBERS: MR. ENGSTROM & MRS. LOVEJOY HAVE A MEETING ON WED. OCT.22 RIGHT AFTER SCHOOL. WE WILL HAVE ALL CHOIR AND LEADS ON THURSDAY AND PRACTICE FROM 3-4:30. IT WILL BE SCENES 3-10 AND THE CHORUS. THANKS FOR YOUR FLEXIBILITY.

7th Graders:
Ambassador application forms are due today in Mrs. Martin’s office. No late applications will be accepted. Thank you & good luck!!

Mobile Food Pantry
A mobile pantry is a traveling food pantry that delivers food directly to families in need for a one-day distribution. The goal is to pro-vide food where there is a high need but limited resources. The mobile pantry is available to you free of charge!​
