TODAY IS AN A DAY

Any current 6th or 7th grade girl that is interested in playing volleyball next year there will be an informational meeting on Wednesday May 16.   The meeting will be after school in the cafeteria. Please plan your rides for 3:20. Any questions please see Mrs. Mynster or Mr. Eastridge

Friday, May 18 is the last day for Academy /Adventure.

All 6th Graders and Parents: Join us for 6th Grade Recognition Day where all Andersen Middle School 6th graders will be recognized on Wednesday, May 16. 6A: 2:15 p.m. in the gym. 6B: 1:30 p.m. in the gym. 6C: 2:15 p.m. in the library.

All 8th Graders 8th Grade Farewell Party! The theme is “Aloha”.   It will be held at SkateDaze this Thursday, May 17th from 4-7.   Tickets are $10 and include skating, skate rental, dancing, great music, two meal tickets w/ drinks, rock wall, lazer tag, bumper cars, cake, hula and limbo contests, door prizes, picture booth and FUN!!!! There will be contests for best Hawaiian: shirt, skirt, dress sunglasses, hat and best overall outfit.    A will bus be provided for if you need a ride to SkateDaze but you need to find a ride home. Socks are mandatory! Don’t miss out on the last party of the year and your send off for high school! Tickets on sale today, before and after school in the commons and office!   Don’t miss out on the FUN!

Attention students!  If you want to pay $1.00 you can purchase a pajama or hat day sticker in support of one of our teachers, Mrs. Elsberry. You can wear pajamas or a hat on Friday! You can purchase your sticker before and after school in the commons Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday.   Dress code rules will apply to pajama day. You will get the rules when you buy your sticker. No Boxers for girls OR boys.

Students participating in sports for the 2012-2013 year need to complete the middle school sports forms located here.
AMS Band

To The Parents of all incoming 7th Graders for 2012-2013
The Nebraska State Law mandates that ALL students entering 7th grade have a medical physical.  If you are planning on playing sports, this physical satisfies the sport requirement.  The physical has been made available to download so that it can be taken with you to the doctor. Click here for the 7th Grade Physcial Form.  All physicals MUST be scheduled AFTER May 1, 2012 to count for the 2012-2013 school year.
Students entering 7th grade must also show proof of a TDaP vaccine. (Tetanus, Diphtheria, and Pertussis).  NO CHILD WILL BE ABLE TO COME TO SCHOOL THE FIRST DAY WITHOUT PROOF OF THESE IMMUNIZATIONS.  Please call me with any questions you may have, (402) 715-8452.  Thank you, Desirae Smith, RN
