Honor Roll

Students make the honor roll by earning good grades.  In order to make Honor Roll, the student's cumulative GPA needs to fall in one of the following ranges:

Distinguished 4.00 - 3.80
Superior 3.79 - 3.50
Merit 3.49 - 3.00

The honor roll is posted on team bulletin boards.  “Proud Parent” bumper stickers are given out through the Counseling Office. Students earn a bumper sticker when they make honor roll for three terms.  These terms do not need to be conservative.  Students can earn one bumper sticker per year. If a student makes honor roll every hexter, they are honored at Honors Night in the spring.

Honor Roll requirements are as follows:
Regular Honor Roll - students need a “2” average. A grade of “3” must be balanced by a “1”.(This equals a 3.00 to 3.83 GPA.)
Superior Honor Roll - students need all “1’s” with one “2” allowed. (This equals a 3.8 to 4.0 GPA, grade point average.)

Grading
1 = 93 -100
2 = 85 - 92
3 = 77 – 84
4 = 69 – 76
5 = 68 and below
